EXPERIMENTAL PAINTING & DRAWING - £75 quick and easy techniques for beginners

Spend a day discovering simple, achievable techniques that give you the confidence to create your own art. You’ll have the time, place and materials to simply have a go.
We won’t be painting portraits, landscapes or still life - we’ll be playing with a variety of fun techniques, materials and tools to quickly get you creating colour, pattern, and images. Don’t worry if you’re just starting out – it’s all about having a go and making your mark. You’ll be amazed at how easily you can start producing interesting and unique images. At the end of the day, you’ll walk away with your very own works of art. If you’re already an experienced artist, this workshop will help inspire you with fresh ideas and techniques you may never have tried before. Call me to find out more.
 

HAND BLOCK PRINTING / LINO CUTS - £75

This is a traditional, Indian printing technique which can be enjoyed by all ages and abilities. It’s a fun and absorbing technique that produces surprisingly quick and unique results.
After experimenting with authentic Indian wood blocks, I’ll show you how to cut your own lino blocks and produce your very own original prints.

TRANSFER PRINTING ON FABRIC - £75 printing on fabric with special dyes and a heat press

Another creative way of printing onto fabric using a heat transfer press. Sounds technical, but it’s a quick and fun process you’ll love using! I’ll show you how to transfer your own patterns and images onto fabric in a range of exciting ways. Another rather addictive print process! You will produce: Experimental pieces of printed fabric to use as you wish. I will give you plenty of ideas and inspiration.
